This policy explains how The Original Makers (ABN 18 679 740 188) ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information through this website and our wholesale dealings. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. What we collect

When you send an enquiry or apply for a wholesale account we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, the products you are interested in and anything you include in your message. If you become a wholesale customer we also hold delivery addresses, order history and billing contact details. We do not ask for or store payment card numbers on this website.

2. How we collect it

Directly from you, through our website forms, email, phone and in person. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect information about how you use this website (pages viewed, device type, approximate location by region). We do not collect sensitive information.

3. Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, call you back when you request wholesale pricing, set up and manage wholesale accounts, quote pricing, process and deliver orders, meet food safety and traceability obligations, improve this website, and, where you have agreed, send you product and ordering updates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses essential cookies and browser storage to work and to remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email and form providers, analytics provider (if you consent), accounting software and delivery partners, and where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
